Go to: Models tab>select model under Model Name>Parameters
Each model has two types of parameters:
Internal parameters set by the model design table (for example box_width@Sketch1)
External parameters viewed by your web site's end-users (for example width)
The model must comply with
model
requirements. If the model does not include a design table,
you cannot specify External Parameter
Names.
On the Parameters page, you can:
Add External Parameter Names for the internal parameters set by the model design.
Add a Description. If you add a description, it appears when you mouse-over the appropriate external parameter on the end user's 3D ProductPage web site.
You can enclose description
values with simple HTML commands. For example, <b>Base Extrude1</b>
displays as Base Extrude1 in the
description field.
To display the Description, you must add an External Parameter to the software-generated Internal Parameter.
You cannot add a description
when using Design Table Rules.
Change the rule mode:
Basic Rules (default, no rules applied)
Custom Rules (customize by direct editing of the rule data)
Existing rules offer a diversity
of options. Applying Custom Rules
is suggested only for advanced users.
Change the parameter order.
Assign Constraints for each parameter.
To add or edit an external parameter or description during an upload:
From the <your model> Parameters dialog box, type a value for External Parameter corresponding to the Internal Parameter.
Type a value for Description.
Click Save.
To add or edit an external parameter after an upload:
Select a model from the right panel.
On the <your model> Attributes page, click the Parameters tab.
On the <your model> Parameters page, click Edit adjacent to the Description value you want to edit.
In the Parameter name for <your Internal Dimension>, do the following:
Select External parameter enabled.
Type a value for External parameter name.
Type a value for Parameter description.
Click Finish.
